The reason you don't give a flying fuck is, IMHO, because you are a selfish prig who only cares about themselves and thier immediate family and the rest of the world can go to hell.

So they're upset about detainees being hooded and forced into poses that depict sexual acts etc.????

As opposed to, say, the beheading of a NON military person in front of a video camera.

Yeah, I'd say the two are similar.

If you want to question anyone's patriotism look at those who champion this invasion who aren't willing to make the sacrifice's they ask of our servicepeople.

I suspect if you had to carry a gun on the ground, there would have been holes in your back.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">President Bush has not asked for enlistees yet on the assumption our existing armed forces will be sufficient. But should the draft be reinstituted I already have the info I need to apply for the draft board. See not only will I not be going into the ranks I'll have a say into who will and who won't. And I can thank you for the inspiration Pina. According to your logic everyone who supports this war should be signing up for the military.

You chose to stay safe at home. Helping send others into the fray doesn't quite make up for it. Though I guess it does make sense in a deserter supporter kind of way.

(You opened the can, not I.)

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">As I said to OBK. Go fuck yourself. I served my country proudly, though with some moral reservations, and gave it seven years. I served where I was posted and if you think sitting on a huge floating target is safe I suggest you take a trip back in time and sign up to serve on the USS Forrestal. I understand those forward berthing areas were particularly nice.

By the by, where did you serve?
